This is a great spelling program for visual-picture
learners. There are no long lists of words to learn.

Writing

This is truly a step by step writing program. Decks
of cards are dealt out to allow the student to take
one step at a time to create a piece of writing. Starts
with writing a paragraph and moves to a five paragraph
essay by the end of the year.
Reading
Free reading: About one book per month of his choice.
Since he enjoys explaining things, make time to listen
to him talk about what he is reading. Take trips to
the library to select books, if possible.
Also,
Read to Star. These could be longer, more difficult
books than he would choose for himself.

teach someone what he has learned.
