How to Enroll in Global Village School

Enrollment in Global Village School gives you access to teacher support and the administrative services of an official private school. If you haven't already, please be sure to explore all of the K-8/High School program pages to get a sense of the enrollment, curriculum, and tuition options that are available to you.

If you are not interested in enrollment but do want to use our curriculum please see our curriculum only page.

The GVS US Govt course asked Grey to choose a political project and while looking around we discovered the cry for help from the Green Party. So I don't think it's too far fetched to say that GVS and your wonderful curriculum will have played an important role in the greening of a whole province.

Basic steps in the Global Village School enrollment process

Contact Global Village School. Please tell us your enrollment preferences in terms of level of teacher support (tuition) and grade level. During the course of the enrollment process your enrollment advisor will help you choose the courses/curriculum and teacher service options that are right for your family.

Enrollment forms: After you have contacted GVS, a staff member will send you enrollment forms upon request. Complete parent and student enrollment forms for each child and submit via email.

Registration Deposit (high school program only): For students that are new to our high school program, you will pay a $100 new student registration deposit that covers some of the cost of new student enrollment counseling, transcript reviews and the learning styles profile. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward the cost of the enrollment fee.

Transcripts (high school program): For students who have previously attended high school, review our graduation requirements. We will ask for copies of transcripts for previous years so that we can determine what courses need to be taken in order to graduate. If the student has been homeschooled for previous high school years we will need documentation of their studies.

Enrollment appointment: Prior to completing enrollment we will schedule an enrollment counseling appointment by phone to finalize your choices. Please be sure to include your phone number in your email and on the parent enrollment form. We will use email to schedule the phone call.

Order form and fees: GVS will send you an Order Form with the itemized details of your fees. Remember that sales tax (CA residents only) and shipping and handling charges may apply.

Payment: You will make a payment based on the information in the GVS Order Form.

If you are more comfortable speaking with someone by phone to initiate the enrollment process or ask questions please call us at 805-646-9792.

Please note that we are a selective admissions program - applicants go through a review process and are not automatically enrolled simply by virtue of applying.

I had thought that kids couldn’t learn without being in a classroom. She is finding math really easy now…I was a nervous wreck about doing this and now I’m so glad I am. She’s learning so much more. Her learning has increased exponentially. Every time we do a lesson she learns and remembers so much. That just wasn’t happening in the classroom. I’m very thrilled that we’re doing this...I’m stunned. I never imagined that it would be like this. Where did we get the idea that we had to turn over our kids to strangers?
